Funeral services held January 22 for Robert Bryan Fletcher Funeral services were held at the Pioneer Memorial Church at Independence last Friday, January 22, for Robert Homer Bryan Fletcher, who died January 19 at the Southern Inyo Hospital following a lengthy fight with cancer. Mr. Fletcher was born in South Carolina in April 29, 1907 and had been a piano player for the past 15 years. He had played the piano at the Pines Cafe at Independence for some time. He is survived by his widow, Betty Rood Fletcher and a son, Bill of Santa Ana. Services were conducted by the Rev. Robert Wolfe of Bishop. Pallbearers were Clyde O'Hara, Archie Dean, Red Austin, and John Stretch. Interment at the Independence cemetery.
