Robert Emmett Vinsant

In keeping with his request, no funeral services will be held for 72-year Independence resident Robert Emmett 
Vinsant, 83.

Mr. Vinsant was born March 16, 1913 in Spokane, Wash.  A U. S. Army veteran of World War II and the Korean 
War, he worked for the Department of Water and Power's Land Section.  Mr. Vinsant never married.  He was a 
member of the American Legion Post 265 in Independence.  He died July 10 at his home in Independence.

Survivors include his friend, James Kelley of Big Pine.

Interment will be at the Independence Cemetery.
