Robert L. McGraw Graveside funeral services for 47-year Bishop resident Robert L. McGraw, 79, will be held Saturday, Oct. 29, 2 p.m., at the East Line Street Cemetery. The Winnedumah Lodge #287, Free and Accepted Masons will officiate. Mr. McGraw was born in Twin Falls, Idaho on Aug. 5, 1915. He died Oct. 25 at Rancho Encinitas Health Care Center. Mr. McGraw as a 55-year member of the Winnedumah Lodge # 287, Free and Accepted Masons, a 45-year member of the Bishop Elks Lodge #1603, and a charter member of E. Clampus Vitus - Slim Princess Chapter. He was also a member of the Kerak Shrine Temple of Reno, Nev. and a charter member of the Bishop Golf Course. He participated in the original construction of the golf course and facilities. He also served on the Bishop Union High School Board of Education for eleven years. Survivors include his wife, Bea McGraw of Bishop; son, James S. McGraw of San Diego; daughters, Lynn Loux of Sutter Creek, Calif., Jane McGraw Steward of Big Pine; stepson Gerry Knight of Redding, Calif.; step-daughter, Marianne Knight of Carlsbad, Calif.' 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Donation in his memory can be made to Hospice of the Owens Valley, 155 Pioneer Lane, Bishop, CA 93514, or the Shriner's Crippled Children's Hospital, in care of Kerak Temple, 4935 Energy Way, Reno, Nev. 89502; or to charity of the donor's choice.
