Roberta Lipscomb Funeral services will be held for 37-year Bishop resident Roberta Lipscomb, 89, on Wednesday, Jan. 15, at the Brune and Buck Mortuary Chapel at 10 a.m. Reverend Caddy Jackson of the First United Methodist Church will officiate. Born in Hutchinson, Kan. on May 28, 1913, Mrs. Lipscomb died on Jan. 9, 2003 at St. Mary's Hospital in Reno. Roberta worked as a volunteer at the Laws Railroad Museum for many years. She is survived by her husband, Enos Bruce Lipscomb of Bishop; daughter, Shirley Virgina Lorimor of Riverbank, Calif., daughter, Carol Jean Brennan of Louisville, Colo.; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Donations in her name may be made to the Laws Railroad Museum. Interment will be at the East Line Street Cemetery in Bishop.
