Russ Carrington

1911-2003

Funeral services for longtime Bishop resident Russ 
Carrington, 91, will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12 
at the First United Methodist Church in Bishop.

Rev. Caddy Jackson and Jim Upson, P.M. for Winnedumah Lodge 
287, will officiate. Interment will be made at the West 
Line Street Cemetery.

Born Aug. 3, 1911 in Cedar Falls, Iowa, Russ died Feb. 5, 
2003 at Northern Inyo Hospital in Bishop.

Russ, a 35-year Bishop resident, was a member of Winnedumah 
Lodge 287, Free and Accepted Masons.

He is survived by wife, Rose Alice Carrington of Bishop; 
daughters, Carol Ann Lippent of Scottsdale, Ariz. and 
Christina Louise Reagan of Prescott, Ariz.; grandchildren, 
Justine Foster, Julie Ann Rosenberg and Heather Lynn Reagan; 
great grandchildren Hannah Rosenberg and Arie Rosenberg; 
brother, Woody Carrington; sisters, Bernice Swaden, Marie 
Coakly and Genny Morgan; and sister-in-law, M. June Vana.
