Ruth Ellen Ragan Duckett

At her request, services were private for Reno, NV. Resident 
Ruth Ellen Ragan Duckett, 67, formerly of Bishop.

Born the fourth child to John and Hilda Ragan in Santa Ana 
on Dec. 17, 1935, Mrs. Duckett died on Jan. 27, surrounded 
by her family after a battle with cancer.

Ruth attended elementary school in Villa Park, high school 
in Orange and college in Santa Ana.  She was an accomplished 
floral designer and artist with a sense of elegance and good 
taste.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Robert 
Ragan.

She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Richard; 
three devoted children, John and Bernadette Duckett of Reno, 
Dan and Tessa Duckett of Sparks, NV, and Leah Francis of 
Stevensville, MT; grandchildren, John, Beau and Jenay Duckett 
of Reno, Dallas and Danessa Duckett of Sparks, NV, Ryan and 
Lauren Kidder, and Dillon Francis of Stevensville; sister, 
Mary Henry of Madison, WI; and numerous nieces, nephews and 
other family members.

Ruth will be forever cherished by all who knew her, for her 
good sense of humor, gardening skills, love of football and 
saltwater fishing, generous hospitality, and the 
unconditional love that she gave to her family and friends.

She had resided previously in Tustin, Santa Ana, 
Stevensville, and Los Barrilles, in Baja California.
