Ruth S. Larson

Memorial services will be held for 33-year Bishop resident
Ruth S. Larson 86, on Saturday, Nov. 23, at the First United
Methodist Church in Bishop at 11 a.m.

Born April 26, 1916 in Oklahoma to William T. Sales and
Minnie G. Powers, Mrs. Larson died on Nov. 16, 2002 at Carson
Tahoe Hospital.

Ruth married Donald J. Larson on April 23, 1944, in Huntington
Park, Calif.  A member of the golf club in Bishop, she was also
an excellent bridge player and ballroom dancer.

Coming to Bishop from Orange County, she was a member of the 
First United Methodist Chuch and sang in the Church Choir.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and
seven sisters.

She is survived by her husband, Donald J. Larson of Bishop;
son, Brad Larson and wife Barbara of Gardnerville, Nev.; brother,
C.T.N. Sales and wife Eula of Hemet; grandchildren, Kailey
and Jake Larson of Gardnerville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's
choice, or to the Music Ministry at the First United Methodist
Church in Bishop.

Interment will be private.
