Shoshone Old-Timer Succumbs at Tecopa

Samuel D. Flake, 78, a resident of Shoshone for over 50 years 
was found dead Wednesday at 3 o’clock at Tecopa Hot Springs.  
Funeral services are scheduled for Friday at 2 p.m. at 
Shoshone cemetery.

A native of Prentiss county, Miss., Mr. Flake was a miner in 
the southern Inyo area.  Surviving him is his son, Ben F., of 
Perris.
