Sandra 'Sandy' Everson 1941 - 2003 Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 29 in Ontario for 30-year Bishop area resident Sandy Everson. Private family burial will be held Monday, Dec. 1 at 1 p.m. at the Big Pine Cemetery. Pastor Ben Peavy will officiate. Sandy was born in Bell, Calif. on Sept. 25, 1942 and died Nov. 24, 2003 near Tonopah, Nev. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Everson. Sandy is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Ginger and Wayne Parris of Draper, Utah; daughter and son-in-law, Kathie and Eric Butner of Bishop; son and daughter-in-law, Jed and Robin Everson of Riverside; son and daughter-in-law, Rohn and Shelley Everson of Orange City, Iowa; brothers and sisters, Sedonia Benedict, Stephanie Benedict, Jim Benedict, Steven Benedict and their families; and grandchildren, Matt Lammiman, Jeanette Lammiman, Michael Butner, Brian Parris, Andrew Parris, Danielle Parris, Holly Everson, Ryan Everson, Jordan Everson and Deanne Everson. Sandy will be missed by all who knew her, all of whom she helped while staying on this earth, and anyone she touched with her special style of laughter. She lived a life encouraging love, giving and laughter. "We encourage all who knew her to continue doing the same," her family said. Donations in Sandy's memory may be made to the Inyo-Mono Area Agency on Aging (IMAAA).
