Sarah "Hix" Rose Rossi
1914-2003

Funeral services for 70-year Big Pine resident Sarah "Hix" Rose Rossi, 88, 
will be held on Saturday, March 8, at the Big Pine Community United 
Methodist Church at 1 p.m. Rev. Dr. Karen Moore will officiate.

Born in Hackberry, AZ on June 13, 1914, Mrs. Rossi died on March 2 at the 
Foremost Health Care Center in Hesperia.

Sarah was preceded in death by husband, Ruben Rossi in 1983, a brother, 
Marvel (Jinx) Imus, and a sister, Ina Curtis.

She is survived by son, Burl and wife Barbara Rossi of Hesperia; son, Gary 
and wife Andy Rossi of Big Pine; daughter, Ruby and husband Myron Zinoue of 
Yucaipa; brother, Ted Imus of Canada and Frank and Mary Ann Imus of Fontana, 
Calif.; sister, June and husband Maynard Rossi of Big Pine; 12 
grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Interment will be at the Big Pine Cemetery.
