Thelma Matthie	


Funeral services were held April 18 for Thelma Matthie 
of Bishop, following her death April 13 at her 
residence.  She was 63.

The Rev. J. Hackett Johnson of the First Presbyterian 
Church officiated at the service, held at the church.  
Burial was a private interment at Pioneer cemetery.

Mrs. Matthie was born August 30, 1915 in Little Rock, 
AR.

She is survived by her two sons, Richard Matthie of 
Sparks, NV and Bill Matthie of Bishop; two brothers, 
Charles Fleschner of Trinidad, CA and Louis Fleschner 
of Little Rock, AR.

Mrs. Matthie was a swimming instructor for 32 years.

Those wishing to honor the memory of Mrs. Matthie may 
contribute to the V.F.W. Equipment Fund, c/o V.F.W. 
Post 8988, Bishop.
