Theodore Carlson

Theodore (Ted) Carlson, a retired caretaker at Haiwee reservoir, died in Southern Inyo hospital December 12 after 
a brief illnesss at the age of 78.  He was an employee of the Department of Water and Power for 20 years.

Born in Nebraska August 18, 1893, he had lived in the Olancha area 35 years.  Surviving is a brother, Ed, of Seal 
Beach.

A graveside service was conducted in Mt. Whitney cemetery at 10 a.m. December 17 by Turner Barnes post, VFW, of 
Lone Pine.  Owens Valley Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
