Velma Lowden

Funeral services were held Sept. 12 for Velma Lowden, 62, of Inyo County following her death Sept. 2 at Hillcrest Nursing 
Home in San Bernardino.

The Rev. Oliver Tanquary of the Big Pine Community United Methodist Church officiated at the service, held at graveside.  
Burial was in Big Pine Cemetery.

Mrs. Lowden was born April 17, 1917 in Oklahoma.  She is survived by one son, Robert Lowden of Bishop; one daughter, 
Jackie Lowden of Reno, NV; three brothers, Larry Tindell of Ventura, John Tindell of San Francisco and Bill Tindell of 
Texas and one sister, Ruby Mitchell of Arkansas.
