Deaths Reported A telegram to Mrs. Bert Rhine apprised her of the death of her sister's husband, W. L. Blythe, at Palo Alto Tuesday night. Heart trouble was the cause of his passing, at the age of 50 years. Mr. Blythe was in the hardware business with Goldman, the Tulare merchant, for some years, and from three moved to Chico. About six years ago the family went to Palo Alto, where he followed the same line of business until failing health compelled his retirement. He is spoken of in high terms, it being said that he had not an enemy - an unusual tribute. He is survived by his wife, formerly Miss Minnie Collins, and two children, a daughter aged nine years and a son aged six.
