W. H. Kennedy

Services were held at Hillcrest Mortuary Chapel, December 16, for William H. Kennedy, 52, of Acton, who died December 8, 
in a San Francisco hospital.  American Legion post officiated.

Mr. Kennedy was born in Grove, Kan. And had resided in California for the past 50 years.  At one time he was associated 
with the Eagles in Lone Pine and was past worthy president of that lodge; a charter member of the American Legion in 
Lone Pine; President of Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employees - San Joaquin Division lodge 1096.

Mr. Kennedy is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ruby Kennedy of Acton; a son Rockey Kennedy of Torrance; a sister, Mrs. 
Margaret Edwards of Bakersfield; his mother, Mrs. Gilla Kennedy of Bakersfield and three grandchildren.
