Kenneth Cragg, pastor of the Northminster Presbyterian church will officiate. Mrs. Lane, a native of Tennessee and resided in Kern County for 54 years. She was a member of the Northminster Presbyterian Church. Survivors include a son, Martin Benjamin Lane of Torrance; a daughter, Lois Griffin of Bakersfield; two brothers, Dr. O. S. Former Taft Man Is Called By Reaper

F. J. Leahy, 68, a former resident of Taft for several years and well-known throughout the West Side before making his residence at San Jose a year ago, died yesterday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at Taft. Mr. Leahy had come to Taft about 10 days ago to attend the funeral of his son-in-law Charles del Bondio. The day after the service he suddenly became ill. The deceased is survived by his widow, Mrs. Nellie Leahy of San Jose; two sons Joe Leahy of Paso Robles and Leo Leahy of Los Angeles and a daughter Mrs. Charles del Bondio of Taft. Funeral services will be held at the Taft Catholic Church tomorrow morning at 9 o'clock. Burial services in charge of the Bakersfield Elks Lodge will be in Bakersfield Union Cemetery.

She loved to do gardening and loved her animals, and was a great cook. Also, she was an astute business woman who enjoyed success, in real estate. Mrs. Leake was a member of the Eastern Star for 42 years, was president of Thums Women's Club, past president of the PTA, and was a Red Cross volunteer for 10 years. Survivors include her husband Jerry of Bakersfield; daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and Robert Folsom of Bakersfield, and Barbara and Doug Brockway of Washington state; son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Mary Weller of Bakersfield; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Warren Wooden of Bakersfield. Honorary casketbearers will be Jay Weller, Bob Folsom, David Sanders, Warren Wooden, Rob Pettipas and Doug Brockway. Visitation will begin today at 9:00 a.m. At the family's request the casket will be closed.

The Reverend George Carey will officiate at a funeral service Wednesday 10 a.m. in Holland & Lyons Chapel. Burial will follow in Desert Memorial Park. She is survived by her husband, Max D. Leavitt of Ridgecrest and her nephew Larry Tarvin of Fontana. Mrs. Leavitt, who was a housewife, moved to California 30 years ago and lived in Ridgecrest for the past 15 years. She also has two surviving sisters, Mildred Bryant of Madill, Ok. and Margie Warner of Ardmore, OK. There are 15 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.

Private internment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Mrs. Liew passed away July 13, 1990. Mrs. Liew was born in China. She was raised and educated in Taiwan, and was graduated from Providence College with a degree in secondary education. She taught high school in Taiwan for 2 years. Mrs. Liew moved to Bakersfield in 1978 and became a citizen in 1986. She was employed by the County of Kern, Department of Human Services for 10 years. She is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Thean Soo (T.S.); her son, Roger Liew of Bakersfield; sisters and brothers-in-law, Po-Yueh and Jay Lin of Taiwan, Pl-Shing and C. Dien Tsai of Taiwan, Angela and Jen-Shing Chen of Taiwan, Grace and Edward Fang of LaVerne, Peggie and Chia-Wen Kao of Taiwan; sister, Po-Chu Kuan of Taiwan; brother, C. Ray Kuan of Taiwan, nieces, nephews and numerous friends. Family and friend were very important to Anne. She will be remembered for her respect and empathy for all people, her deep appreciation for the fragile quality of life, her sense of humor, and her courage throughout her illness.

Donald was born July 4, 1926 in Illinois and had resided in Kern County for 27 years. He was educated at the University of Oklahoma in geological engineering. Donald was a U.S. Marine Corp. veteran of W.W. II. He was a petroleum engineer and started with Richfield Oil Company in 1953 and was employed with them for 32 years. He was registered with the Geneology & Geophysics Board.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Logsdon of Bakersfield; and brother, Conrad Logsdon of Ventura. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Logsdon in 1988.

Mrs. Logue was a native of Charleston, Arkansas and lived here since 1947. She was a long-distance telephone operator for Pacific Telephone Co., retiring after 35 years. She had been a long time member of St. Marks Methodist Church and was a life member of the 'Pioneers of America.'

Survivors include her devoted husband Forrest Edward Logue; daughter Patricia Ann and son-in-law Floyd Bosworth of Fresno; sisters Mildred Bramlett, and Louise Jones, both of Arkansas; grandchildren Lynne Anne and Julie Lea Bosworth; nephews Ronnie Bramlett, Sam and Stacey Jones, David and Larry Logue; nieces Margaret Ann Chard, Janet Perry and Nancy Loe.
