Nance, Lloyd Elmer - Masonic services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Thursday in the East Lawn Chapel in Sacramento for Lloyd E. Nance, 78, of 1676 Chester Avenue who died March 12 in his home. Mr. Nance, a native of California was born in Paso Robles and had resided in this community 42 years. His wife, Leola Nance, died in 1956. Mr. Nance was self-employed as a cattle buyer. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He is survived by one brother, Robert R. Nance of Salinas. The Hopson Mortuary

Albert J. Nash, 84, died Tuesday, Jan. 6, in the Tehachapi Hospital. Rosary for Nash, who was born on June 3, 1896 in Halifax, Miss., officiated. Mass was held at 10 a.m. on Jan 10 and burial was in the Tehachapi Eastside Cemetery.
Nash had retired from civil service at Edwards Air Force Base in 1961. Nash is survived by his wife, Jessie; and five sons, James of Fairview Heights,Ill; Walter of Coolidge, Ariz; Jerry of Cahokio, Ill; Butch of Roger, Ark. and Larry of Tehachapi. Nash is also survived by three daughters, Ruth Adams of Johnstown, Penn; Alberta Mielenz of Wheaton, MD; and Mary Storie of Grants Pall, Ore; along with 19 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Stickel Mortuary was in charge of the funeral arrangements.

Headline: Widow of Former Fresno Man Dies

Mrs. Alice Nettleton, 75, widow of the late George Nettleton, former prominent Fresno contractor and a resident of Bakersfield for the past 7 years died yesterday at a local hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband last year. a native of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, Mrs. Nettleton had been a resident of California for 48 years and had made her home in Bakersfield with her daughter, Mrs. Harry Harps, 1530 California Avenue.
In addition to Mrs. Harps, the deceased leaves four other daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Hale and Mrs. Hilda Smythe both of Bakersfield; Mrs. Phoebe Cunningham of Richmond and Mrs. George Thomas of Glendale and a son Arthur of Burbank.
Funeral services for Mrs. Nettleton will be conducted at the Flickinger-Digler Chapel Saturday morning at 10 o'clock with the Rev. Mr. Barrett officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park.

Headline: George Nettleton Called by Death

George Nettleton, 72, former well-known Fresno contractor and for the last several years a resident of Bakersfield passed away in a local hospital yesterday. He made his home here with a daughter, Mrs. Harry Harps, 1530 California Dr.
He also leaves 4 other daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Hale and Mrs. Hilda Smythe both of Bakersfield; Mrs. Phoebe Cunningham of Richmond and Mrs. George Thomas of Glendale; and a son Arthur Nettleton of Burbank. Born in Stockholm, Sweden, Mr. Nettleton came to this country in 1884 settling first in Oregon and moving to Fresno in 1892. Since retiring from active business he has made his home with his daughter.
Funeral services will be held in Flickinger-Digler Chapel Saturday morning at 10 o'clock. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.

Neufeld, Marie - Funeral will be conducted at 3 PM Saturday in the Mennonite Brethren Church, Miller and Monterey Streets, for Mrs. Marie Neufeld, 60, 1825 Baker St., who died March 31 in a local hospital. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The Rev. Arthur Fleming will officiate. Greenlawn Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Neufeld was born in Nebraska Feb. 11, 1894. She had resided in this area the past 44 years. Surviving are her husband, Peter; a son, Vestor and a daughter, Marian McKelvey all of Bakersfield and three other daughters Evelyn Gamble of Santa Ana, Bernadine Gerbrandt of Altadena, and Nadine Kliever of Dinuba; a brother Gust Klingenberg of Whittier and three sisters, Nettie Wiens of Whittier, Louise Sage of Long Beach and Anna Whal of San Mateo. Also 11 grandchildren. Pallbearers are Abe Koop, Otto Boese, Ed Leich, Bill Buller, Sam Harms, and Henry Eitzen.

Margaret was very active with the Bakersfield Association of Retarded Children.

Also officiating will be the Rev. Donald Buteyn of the First Presbyterian Church. Charles will be remembered by many as a long time employee of Pioneer Mercantile Co., and a charter member of the Local No. 1036 Retiree's Club. He was a 48 year member of the Masonic Lodge No. 466 F&AM and a member of the First Presbyterian Church. Charles is survived by his wife of 60 years, Beulah, and his children, Janet, Wayne, and Christine; brother, Walter and sister Florence; six grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Diabetes Foundation of Alzheimer's Research.
