Mrs. Talcott was a native of Wisconsin and had resided in Kern Co. 15 years. Taylor, Daniel Wayne - Services were today in Agee Funeral Home, Shafter for Daniel Wayne Taylor, 17, who died Nov. 27 near Bakersfield. Daniel was born in Taft and lived in the Bakersfield area most of his life. He was a Junior at North High. The Rev. Glenn J. Toone officiated and interment followed in Shafter Memorial Park. Van-Buren, Phoenix, AZ, Friday, June 2, 1999 at 11 a.m. for Albert Richard Thoman, 63, of Bakersfield, who died Saturday, May 27, 1989 at St. John's Hospital in Santa Monica following a lengthy illness. Rev. Gene Carter of University Christian Church, Culver City will officiate. Interment will follow at Greenwood Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Thoman, born. January 18, 19.26 in Flagstaff and raised in Phoenix, AZ had resided in Bakersfield since 1951. He served as a Quartermaster in the Navy during WWII. He obtained his BS degree from Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ and his Masters degree from the University of Southern California. He was dedicated to offering the best education he could to many young people in the Bakersfield community as a teacher, counselor and principal for the Bakersfield City School District for 36 years, retiring in June I987. Throughout his life he was very civic and community minded. He was a frequent donor for Houchin Blood Bank. He was active with Jr. Olympic track teams, Jr. AAU track meets and coordinated the city-wide Bakersfield City Schools track meets. Over the years, be was an avid sportsman. He enjoyed fishing and camping in the High Sierras, refereeing for the Kern County Coaches & Officials Assoc., competing in handball tournaments at the Elks Lodge #226 and pitching softball for Green Frog Market.
He was preceded in death by his brother, George Thoman. He is survived by his mother, Edna C. Park, CA; brother, Jacob Robert Thoman Jr. and wife Virginia of Redwood City, CA, brother, Andrew Jackson Thoman II and wife Mildred of Tucson, AZ; sister-in-law, Kathryn Thoman of Phoenix. AZ; children Patricia Thoman Jennett and husband Bart of Thousand Oaks, CA; Sally Thoman and husband Greg Busche of Manhattan Beach, CA; Pamela Thoman Ellzey and husband Ken of Culver City, CA; and Deanna Thoman Garvin and husband Terry of Bakersfield; and grandchildren, Brett and Heidi Garvin.

Micah had a longtime fight with cystic fibrosis. He loved life and was well loved by many friends. Micah was very successful with everything that he set his mind to, and was always a very positive person who loved to make people laugh. He recently obtained his certification to become a phlebotomist, and had hoped to be able to work in the medical field. Thomas, Raymond Henry - Funeral services for Raymond Henry Thomas, 36, Rt.1, Fellows, who was killed in an auto accident Saturday near Taft, were conducted at 10 a.m. today in the chapel of Erickson-Brown funeral Home, Taft. Mr. Johnson (sic) was born in Butler, Okla., February 24, 1915, and had been a resident of the West side for 27 years. She was a member of St. Paul Church of God In Christ and was active in education and civic affairs. She received the Child Health Conference Award from the Kern County Department of Public Health for her volunteer services in the Well Baby Clinic, an honorary life membership in the PTA and was an organizing member of Mebrat Abra and auxiliary of the Children's Home Society. Mrs. Tomlin is survived by her husband Richard Tomlin, Bakersfield; two sons Harlan R. Feltus, Germany and Abraham Feltus, Jr., Compton; three daughters Ms. Anita M. Feltus, Los Angeles; Ms. Helena Feltus Sheppard, Oakland and Ms. Ellen Lorraine Mixon, Compton; a sister Mrs. Helen Wyatt of Los Angeles and 6 grandchildren.

Townson, Edna M - On June 6, 1988 their was a grand reunion in Heaven when Edna Townson was greeted by her husband, William T. Townson who had been their two years waiting for her grand entrance. Edna was born in 1905 in Arkansas. She came to Calif. in 1936 and settled in Lamont in 1938 with her husband and family where she lived until 8 months before she left us to be with the Lord. She was a member of Pentecostal Holiness Church in Lamont and taught the pre-school Sunday School class for many years. She was a representative of Avon Products for 16 years in the Lamont area. She will be deeply missed by her sons William, Joseph, Dorse and George Townson; her daughters Iva Helm, Rachel Ritchie, Virginia Clark, and Hazel Miller; her sisters, Nettie Sullivan, Ruth Regli, Effie Wiley and Naomi Sackett; 18 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. Townson, 83, who died Aug. 20th in a Bakersfield hospital after several months illness. Rev. Monroe Stevens and Rev. Jess Shipley will officiate with burial following at Hillcrest Cemetery. Mr. Townson, born in Indian Territory, Okla., had resided in California since 1938 and had been involved in many community activities. A member of Pentecostal Holiness Church 48 years. He taught Bible school, served a deacon, was secretary of the church, served and conducted services in Kern County jail for 35 years and conducted services in Road Camp and rest homes. Many enjoyed his singing and mandolin playing. He belonged to Carpenters Union #743 for 38 years. He was President of the Lamont Public Utility District and served on its board since 1947. Survivors include his wife Edna of Lamont; sons William Edward of Lamont, Joseph of Tehachapi, Dorse of Louisiana and George of Tehachapi; daughters Iva Helm of Bakersfield, Rachel Ritchie of Northridge, Virginia Clark of Bakersfield and Hazel Miller of Bakersfield; 18 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Pastor Brian Boone of Heritage bible church will conduct graveside services at Union Cemetery at 11 a.m. Tuesday for Clara L. Trone, 86, who passed away in her home on Jan. 13, 1993. She was born Clara Louise Dennison in Blooming Rose, MO., on June 14, 1906. She traveled to Kern County in 1916 with her mother and father, Louisa and Edward; her sisters, Nora, Gladys and Ruby and her brothers, Clarence, Wilbur and Lawrence. In 1925, she married Kenneth L. Trone and remained a homemaker and helpmate in the family business most of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ken and her son, Kenneth L. Trone Jr.
She is survived by her son, Larry Trone and daughter-in-law, Peggy; her daughter, Darlene Duncan and son-in-law, Tom; her daughter-in-law, Rosa Trone; her grandchildren, Deborah Trone, Dori Hamilton, Zackery Trone, Ken Trone III and his wife Sherri; and her great granddaughter, Shaylan, all of Bakersfield. She is also survived by her sisters, Gladys Stoeckle of Visalia and Ruby Kleinhammer of Lemoore and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. The family would like to acknowledge the loving care extended to Clara by Delores Calloway and Darlene Porter and to thank and acknowledge everyone at Kern Hospice for their generous support and excellent care. TURNER, Betty Sue - Funeral services for Betty Sue Turner, 26, who died Feb 6 in her home near Rosamond will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Emerson's Chapel, Lancaster. Interment will be in Lancaster District Cemetery. Born Nov. 2, 1935 in Arkansas. Mr. Turner lived 5 years in Rosamond and in CA for 18 years. She leaves a son, Martin, Father George Bryant of Rosamond; brother George and Glenn A. Bryant, both of Rosamond; a sister, Gwen A. Bryant of Rosamond. Turner's Funeral Home, Mojave was in charge of arrangements.

Graveside services will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Friday, February 26 at 3 P.M. for Ira Estes (Dutch) Tyner, 91, who died February 24, 1993 in Bakersfield. Reverend Bud Frye will officiate.
Mr. Tyner was born in Okemah, Oklahoma, June 10, 1901 and had farmed in the Fairfax area since 1932 and retired twenty-one years ago. Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Bonnie Wilson Tyner; son, Harold G. Tyner and his wife Blaine; daughter Colleen and her husband William Cross; grandchildren, Bret Cross, Jamie Cross Frusetta, Kim Tyner Ince, Jason Tyner; 6 great grandchildren.
