About the Glendora Genealogical Group: The Glendora Genealogical Group is a group of people who are interested in genealogy and live in the Glendora, California area. Despite the name, few, if any, of them are doing research on ancestors who may have lived in Glendora. Most are researching family lines elsewhere, and get together once a month to hear speakers, watch videos, go on field trips, and share genealogical information. Visitors are welcome to join us.
Meetings are held at 7:00 p.m. on the 4th Tuesday of each month (except December) at The Elm Room La Fetra Center 333 E. Foothill Blvd. Glendora, Los Angeles County, California
Directions: Take Foothill Blvd. three blocks east of Glendora Ave. Turn left (north) at the intersection of Foothill Blvd. and Minnesota Ave. Parking is on the street or in the lot across the street. Dues, payable in January, are $15.00 for individuals, $20.00 for a family.

Glendora Genealogical Group Calendar: TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 25th, 7:00 p.m. Meeting Topic: Comparing Genealogy Computer Programs Speaker: Lisa Schumacher Genealogy Workshop: Genealogy Potpourri. GGG members are asked to bring a genealogy tip they have used in doing research to share with other members at this workshop. Genealogy workshops are offered on a variety of subjects at 6:00 p.m. before the meeting. Come join other people interested in doing more effective research on their ancestors.
Bea Beck's genealogy classes resumes Monday, January 7th and Wednesday, January 9th. The 10 week classes continue on Mondays from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. for genealogists with advanced knowledge and research skills; and Wednesdays, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. for those just starting out or with some basic genealogy skills. Classes will be held at the Joslyn Senior Center, 600 N. Mountain Ave. in Claremont, California. The cost is $5.00 and you can register at any time.
