Welcome. The Whittier Area Genealogical Society (WAGS) was established on May 16, 1981 and currently has over 200 members. Regular meetings are held at 1:00 p.m. on the third Saturday of each month throughout the year and are open to the public. Before the regular meeting, the Computer Class alternates monthly with the Refresher Class at 10:30 a.m.  The Beginner's Class, a small, personalized genealogical help class, also meets at 10:30 a.m. These three classes do not meet June, July, August, and December.

Annual Seminar ~~ BREAKING NEWS!
       The National Institute for Genealogical Studies is sponsoring WAGS 29th Annual Seminar ON FEBRUARY 25th by giving every attendee a free online study course valued at $89. Each person can choose “Genealogical Methodology” or “Google for the Wise Genealogist.”       Courses run every month and you can choose which month to start your free course.
