Death Strikes In Susanville Again Taking A. Farris

Abraham Farris passed away at 1:30 Thursday morning, at his home 1409 Richmond Road, after an illness of two weeks.
Mr. Farris was a native of Syria, aged 65 years. Coming to the United States 49 years ago, he has resided in Lassen County for the past 28 years, proprietor of a general merchandise store for that length of time.
When he first came here his store was on Main Street where the Menth hardware is now located, but he has had a store on the Richmond Road for about 26 1/2 years.
Besides his wife, Tala, he is survived by the following children: Mrs. Rafa Perez of Greenville, William Farris of Susanville, Farris A. Farris of Eureka, and Reid and John Farris, Susanville.
There are also four brothers: Mendor Farris of San Francisco, and George, Kenine and Kaidy Farris of New York.
Funeral services will be held at the Morrill Chapel, Saturday afternoon at two o'clock. Interment in Lassen Cemetery.
Rosary will be spoken at 7:30 o'clock this evening at the Morrill chapel.
