Purpose of the Society

  • To bring together people with a mutual interest in genealogical research.

  • To inform, instruct and educate members in the techniques of research.

  • To increase the genealogical holdings of the Special Collections Room at the Stanislaus County Free Public Library and acquire other materials for community use in the form of reference books, microfiche and microfilms.
