Monterey County Historical Landmark NO. 105 ROYAL PRESIDIO CHAPEL OF SAN CARLOS BORROMEO - Established as a mission by Father Serra, June 3, 1770, this became the royal Presidio Chapel when the mission was moved to Carmel.
