DEATH OF M. ARTELLAN
Michael Artellan, a lifelong resident of Monterey, died Monday morning at his home on California Street,
the cause of death being consumption. At the time of his death he was 43 years and 5 months old. He leaves a wife and
four children to mourn his loss.
Deceased was well known in Monterey. And the funeral, which took place this afternoon,
was attended by a large concoarse of sorrowing relatives and friends. The funeral ceremony was conducted by Rev.
R. M Mestres of San Carlos church.
