M. ARTELLAN
Mike A Artellan, 66, died yesterday in a Salinas hospital following an extended illness.
Mr. Artellan was a native of Monterey, where he was born Feb 21 1895, and a life long resident of the peninsula. He was employed as a truck driver by Frank D Amaral.
With his wife Beatrice he made his home at 537 Ortiz St., Seaside.
Surviving in addition to his wife are three sons Mike, Thomas, and Robert Artellan, a daughter Mrs. Anita Douglas, and a sister Mrs. Harry Shaw, all of Seaside.
Funeral services are pending at the Dorney and Farlinger Memorial Chapel and will be announced later.
