Death Takes Member of Pioneer Family
Mrs. Rosalie Artellan, 69, died yesterday morning in her home at 624 Laine. She was born at 739 Munras Street and lived there until three years ago. A member of the Cantura and Escobar families she was widely known among pioneer residents.
She is survived by her son Jess Artellan and daughter Mrs. Rose Grimuido both of Monterey.
Rosary will be said tonight at 8 o'clock in the T A Dorney chapel. Funeral services will be there at 9 a.m. tomorrow morning, to be followed by services at St. Angela's church in Pacific Grove. Burial will be in the Catholic cemetery.
