Anita Lewis
Anita Lewis, a lifetime resident of Pacific Grove, died Friday at the Hospice of the Monterey Peninsula after a lengthy illness. She was 47.
Born Oct 31, 1940, in Pacific Grove. Mrs. Lewis was a homemaker. She graduated from Monterey High School.
She is survived by two daughters, Debbie Baltazara and Paula Silva, both of Seaside; four sons, Thomas Douglas of Monterey, Fred and Danny Douglas, both of Seaside, and Joey Lewis of Castroville; three brothers, Mike Artellan of Carmel Valley, Thomas Artellan of Monterey, and Robert Artellan of Seaside; six grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Sunday at El Estero Chapel of Mission Mortuary. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Monday at San Carlos Cathedral. Burial will be at San Carlos Cemetery.
