Monterey Peninsula Herald, CA Aug. 1, 1960 p4
Frank J. Creede of Isabella Way and Carmel Point died early this morning in a local hospital. His death was determined by autopsy to be due to pneumonia following surgery for a hp fracture suffered on July 28 in a fall at his home. Mr. Creede was born Nov. 13, 1892, in San Francisco, where he was a practicing attorney for 40 years prior to his resignation from the firm on Dec. 31, 1958. He and his wife, Letitia E. Creede, had maintained a home on Carmel Point for many years, making it their permanent residence following his resignation. In addition to his wife, survivors include a son, Frank J. Creede Jr., and four grandchildren, Laurel, Donna Frank J. II and Mark Creede, all of Fresno. Funeral services will be held in San Francisco at the Crew and English Mortuary. The Dorney and Farlinger Memorial Chapel is in charge of local arrangements. Friends wishing to make contributions in the memory of Mr. Creede may do so in the form of donations to the National Parkinsonís Foundation, New York.
