Welcome to The CAGenWeb Monterey County Genealogy and Contribution Forum!
This forum was designed in response to the numerous questions I receive from various researchers (like you) who want to know how they can add their Monterey County genealogy and history information to the CAGenWeb site, and others who are seeking specific information on their Monterey County families.
Some of the most common questions I receive are: What do YOU do with the info once I send it to you? Do I need to format the info before sending it? What if I need to change something later? What if I change my mind and want to remove what I sent?
With this forum, each submitter has total control over any/all info they post. They can add, edit or remove at their pleasure. They can choose to show their contact information, request an email alert if anyone posts a response to their message, see how many people have read their posts, and add links to their personal websites in their profile.
The only limitation is that any information posted must be related to genealogy or history of people and/or places who reside in or passed through Monterey County. Pretty simple.
