Wilbur H. Perkins Dies as Result of Fall
Wilbur Henry Perkins, 83, a resident of Carmel for the past eight years, died at 4:30 a.m. today in a local hospital from injuries received in a fall while working on November 28. He was a painter and paperhanger by trade. Mr. Perkins, a native of Courtland, New York, had been a member of the Odd Fellows lodge for the last half-century and was affiliated with the Order of Ballard in Seattle. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Evalyn Perkins of Santa Fe and First streets, Carmel, and two sons, Oliver “Jack” G. Perkins, also of Carmel, and Harry L. Perkins, now stationed in Alameda with the naval air base engineering department. Funeral services, in charge of The Paul Mortuary, will be held at a time to be announced later.

Services on Monday for W. Harry Perkins
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday at The Paul Mortuary chapel, Pacific Grove, for Wilbur Harry Perkins of Carmel, whose death occurred yesterday morning as a result of a fall while working. Dr. James E. Crother will officiate, assisted by the Monterey Odd Fellows lodge. Burial will take place in the Monterey cemetery.
