Funeral Services of Mrs. J.M. Wanamaker
The funeral of the late Mrs. J.M. Wanamaker, who died in Cripple Creek, Colordo, on December 22, 1912, was held from the undertaking parlors of J.K. Paul on Wednesday forenoon. Rev. Leslie M. Burwell, pastor of the Methodist Church gave a brief sketch of the life of the deceased, speaking of her many good qualities, and a male quartet consisting of Dr. R.I. Ferrand, Harry Wylle, Everett Smith and Mr. Allen rendered several beautiful hymns. After the ceremony the body was interred in El Carmelo Cemetery. Mrs. Wanamaker was the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. C.N. Mead, who came to the Grove about two months ago for the purpose of making their home here. They wrote their daughter to join them here but she was stricken with pneumonia and died upon the eve of her intended departure for the coast. Besides her mother and father Mrs. Wanamaker leaves a little daughter, Miss Thelma, a brother, Harry Max Mead and an aunt,
Mrs. C.A. Strong of this city. She was born at Leadville, Colorado, on September 18, 1884.
