Clyde Dyke to Marry Elmarie Hyler
With an impressive but unostentatious ceremony, Elmarie Hurlbert Hyler will become the wife of Clyde Franklin Dyke at 12:30 next Sunday, November 25, at the First Methodist Church. The beautiful music of the organ played by Mrs. Carol Moore Turner will form a prelude to the service. Her selections will include “Liebestraum”, (Liszt); “Maestoso” (MacDonald) and “Cantilene,” (Tutiale (Dubois). Following this, Robert nagler will tender de Koven’s “O Promise Me” as a violin solo. Then the vested choir of the Methodist church, of which the bride has long been a member, will sing “O Perfect Love,” under the direction of Miss Estelle Koch. Attired in a powder blue crepe afternoon ensemble with a matching hat, the bride will wear a corsage of orchids. The couple will be unattended. Dr. J.H.N. Williams will read the new Methodist Episcopal ring service. After the ceremony members of the immediate family will join with the bride and groom at a wedding dinner at trimmer Hill. Out-of-town guests with include Mrs. John D. Blaine, aunt of the bride.
