Member of Old Peninsula Family to Claim Bride
Charles Chapman Will Wed Constance Lister At Church Ceremony in Burlingame
A marriage of much interest to the Peninsula is that of Charles Garrison Chapman of Pacific Grove and Miss Constance Lister of Burlingame, which will take place tomorrow in St. Paulís Episcopal church in Burlingame. After the ceremony a reception will be held at the home of the brideís parents for members of the immediate families and close friends. Miss Lister has chosen to assist in the bridal entourage her sisters, Mrs. Miriel Lister Carroll of San Mateo as matron of honor, and Miss Phyllis Lister as bridesmaid. Captain William M. Chapman will serve his brother as best man, and William Gould and Kenneth Lister will be the ushers. Mrs. Ethel Banks will be the soloist and will be accompanied by Sidney Lewis, organist of Grace Cathedral of San Francisco. The bride elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene V. Lister of Fairfield Road, Burlingame, and the granddaughter of the late Martin Drayson Lister, B.A. captain of the First Grenadier Guards, London, England. She is a graduate of the Burlingame high school, and attended the San Mateo Junior College. She is a charter member and past honored queen of the Burlingam Bethel of Jobís Daughters. The son of Mrs. Margaret McCaskey Chapman and the late Captain William H.H. Chapman, Mr. Chapman attended San Jose State College and Oregon State College. He is also the grandson of the late Major General William S. McCaskey and at present is a second lieutenant in the Officers Reserve Corps. After a short honeymoon the young couple will make their home in Pacific Grove, where Mr. Chapman is employed.

Charles G. Chapmans Make Home In Grove
After a short honeymoon trip, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Garrison Chapman, whose marriage was an event of last Saturday in Burlingame, returned Tuesday to Pacific Grove and have established a home in the Rodgers apartments, overlooking the ocean front. The bride is the former Miss Constance Lister, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene V. Lister of Fairfield Road, Burlingame. Mr. Chapman is the son of Mrs. Margaret McCaskey Chapman and the late William H.H. Chapman, and the grandson of the late Major General William S. McCaskey. Attending the wedding from Pacific Grove were Mr. and Mrs. P. Douglass Cutting, Mrs. Elinor Conklin, Miss Ethel DeWitt, and Miss Caroline Wood.
