Miss Helen Lewis To Become Bride At Rites Tonight
The lovely blonde Miss Helen Lewis will become the bride of Ralph Burton tonight at a quiet wedding to be performed by the Rev. J.H.N. Williams at 10 o’clock in the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Lewis, on Walnut street. To bee given away by her father, Miss Lewis will be attired in a pale green gown with matching accessories, and her maid of honor, Miss Helen Rhodes, will wear a gown of delicate pink. Ray Wasson will serve as best man. Later there will be a reception at the home for a large group of the young couple’s friends. After a short wedding trip they plan to return here to make their home.

The Rev. Allen Geddes read the services at the Presbyterian church. Mrs. ford is the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H.T. Briggs of Laurel avenue and is the sister of William Briggs. She was graduated from the local high school with the class of ’34 and since then has been working at Pease Drug Store. Her husband attended school to San Jose and has been making his home on the Peninsula for the past two years. He is employed by the Del Monte Properties company. After a brief honeymoon trip the young couple returned here to make their home at the “Whispering Pines.” 1934 briggs
