Pretty Shower Is Given For Bride-to-Be
Mrs. R. Walsh was hostess at an attractive miscellaneous shower for Miss Lucille Breaux, who is to be married soon to James McGrath, employee at Pebble Beach Lodge. Among the lovely gifts received were a slave bracelet, made of blue stones with slave links and a pin to match, remembrances from friends at the Del Monte hotel. There were linens, china, and silver. Miss Breaux is the daughter of Mr.s J. Breaux of Oak Grove, and is employed in the auditorís office at Del Monte. She and Mr. McGrath plan to make their home at the Lodge for a time. Among the guests were Mrs. Harold Wallace, Mrs. William Kynbck, Mrs. Eleanor Baker, Mrs. Phil Piercy, Mrs. Cullen, Mrs. M. Hutchinson, Mrs. Breaux, Misses Lucille Breaux, Eleanor Sweet, Mabel Hudson, Jamison, Nora Forster, Jordan, Beth Gould, Ellen Hancock, and Jenabel Gretter. Progressive whist was played during the evening and Mrs. Eleanor Baker was awarded first prize. Miss Beth Gould, second, and Miss Jenabel Gretter the consolation.
