Vows Made In Carmel
A candlelight ceremony in the Carmel Presbyterian Church was the setting early Sunday evening for the marriage of Nancy Jo Marwick of Harrisburg, Pa., and Donald L. De Muth of Hershey, Pa. Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Marwick of Pebble Beach are the parents of the bride and Bruce Marwick, also of Pebble Beach, is her brother. She is a resident psychologist at Harrisburg Hospital while completing studies for a doctoral degree, after having graduated from Mills College in Oakland. She holds master’s degrees from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City and from the Wharton School of Finance at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. The bridegroom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. William E. De Muth of Carlisle, Pa. He is a graduate of Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, Pa., and of the Wharton School. He is a management consultant and an assistant professor at Pennsylvania State University Harrisburg campus. Carrying out a Christmas wedding theme, the bride wore a Quiana gown trimmed in marabou at the neck, sleeves and around her chapel length cape. In lieu of bouquet, she carried a marabou muff trimmed with sprigs of white roses, holly and stephanotis. The bridegroom who was accompanied by his brother, William De Muth of Hershey as best man, wore a hunter’s green tuxedo with a light green shirt. Mrs. Robert Crandall of Clarendon Hills, Ill., was the matron of honor, and Mrs. David Mirou fo Sherman Oaks was a bridesmaid. The ushers were James De Muth of Boston, Mass., the bridegroom’s brother and Bruce Marwick. The newlyweds greeted wedding guests following the ceremony at a reception held at the Pien Inn in Carmel. After a honeymoon on the Island of Molokai in Hawaii, they will b eat home in Linglestown, Pa.
