Jessica E. Aguirre, 58, died Friday at Community Hospital shortly after being stricken at her home in Pacific Grove. A Peninsula resident since 1968, Mrs. Aguirre was born on Dec. 9, 1924, in Tundla, India, where her father was working on a railroad system at the time. She spent most of her early years in India. Mrs. Aguirre, who came to this area from Kentucky, was a member of San Carlos Catholic Parish. She is survived by her husband, Ernest; daughters, Mary Aguirre and Elizabeth Giles, both of Pacific Grove; sons, Rudy of Germany and Danny of Monterey; sister, Gwen Dique of India; and seven grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated today at 9:30 a.m. at San Carlos Cathedral. Monsignor Brendan McGuinness will officiate. Burial will be in San Carlos Cemetery. The Paul Mortuary, where the rosary was recited last night, is in charge of arrangements. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Monterey Rehabilitation Association in care of American Legion Post 41, Monterey.
