Monterey Peninsula Herald, CA s.n. (sn.)
Howard Fitzsimmons S 1/c, USNR, received his honorable discharge from the Navy on March 27 at Shoemaker, and has returned to his former post in the Herald mechanical department. Fitzsimmons entered the navy in March, 1945, and has been overseas since last November as a crew member of the patrol boat (U.S.S. PC 588, which cruised about the New Hebrides and Samoa. With his wife and their two sons, Duncan, 5, and Robert, approaching 3, he makes his home in Pacific Grove.
