Monterey Peninsula Daily Herald, CA Jan. 9, 1926 p1
Former Resident Passes in S.F.
News of the death in San Francisco this morning of F.M. Buck, former resident of Pacific Grove, and for several years manager of the Monterey offices of the Coast Valleys Gas & Electric company, reached the Peninsula today in a telegram received by N. George Nielsen, cashier of the Bank of Italy. Buck was a former member of the Monterey Peninsula Rotary club, and well known here. He left the Peninsula about one year ago when he severed connection with the gas and electric company. He is survived by a wife. No details regarding funeral arrangements have yet been learned here.

H.M. Buck Laid to Rest in S.F.
The remains of the late Harry M. Buck, former resident of Pacific Grove, and for three years manager of the local plant of the Coast Valleys Gas & Electric company, were laid to rest Monday at Mount Olivet Cemetery in San Francisco, following funeral services held under the auspices of the Masonic order, according of word received in Monterey today. The deceased passed away quite suddenly last week in San Francisco. He had been in exceptionally good health until the day of his death. An artery close in the heart is said to have broken causing an instantaneous death. He leaves his widow, Mrs. Elizabeth M. Buck and one sister, Mrs. A.D. Rennison of Boise, Idaho.
