Cindi Skidmore Engaged
A wedding anniversary and an engagement announcement provided occasion for double celebration at the home of the Phil Larsons of Marino Pines recently. Cynthia Skidmore, the Larsonís granddaughter, chose the date of her grandparents 26th anniversary to announce her engagement to Sgt. Theron C. Delp. Cindi and her parents, the Donald E. Hills f Menlo Park came from their home to announce the engagement plans in Pacific Grove. Cindi has spent a great deal of time in Pacific Grove. Two younger sisters, Debbie and Gail Skidmore of Santa Cruz were also present. Terry is the son of Mr. and Mrs. C.E. Delp of Salinas. Both Cindi and Terry attended school in Salinas. Terry enlisted in the Marine Corps after graduation from North Salinas High School. Cindi graduated from Menlo Atherton High School and is employed at Varian Associates in Palo Alto. Wedding plans for the young coupe are set for June 13 with a marine ceremony at Moffet Field, where Terry is stationed. Among relative sand friends present were the brideís aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. P.R. Dobbs and sons Kelly and Gordon. Cindiís aunt and uncle from Patterson, the Laurence Baalacks drove from the San Joaquin Valley for the party. Also attending were Mrs. Florence MacDonald of Menlo Park; Diana Munoz, Santa Clara; Erbin Francis and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Opitz of Salinas. Cindiís grandmother is president of Pacific Grove Business and Professional Womenís Club and is active in Rebekahs. Her grandfather recently sold his service station at 17th and Lighthouse and is currenly Ö School District.
