Dancer Twins – Seaman 3/c and Mrs. Burlen Dancer, who live at 806 Cypress became the parents of twins May 14 at the Monterey hospital. The first child, called Ronald Dale, was born at 12:10 a.m. and weighed 4 pounds 12 ounces. The second boy called Donald Gale, was born at 1:10 a.m. and weighted 3 pounds, 2 ounces.
Carolyn Joyce – Pfc. and Mrs. George Plander welcomed a 7 pound 8 ounce girl May 12 at the Monterey hospital. Born at 5:55 a.m. the Planders, who live at 391 Central, called her Carolyn Joyce Plander.
Linda Kay Crandal – Pvt. and Mrs. L.J. Crandall of 834 Cedar street, welcomed a girl at 1:00 p.m. May 10 at the Monterey hospital. The child, who weighed 9 pounds, 14 ounces, was named Linda Kay.
James Franklin Pierce – Mrs. Witham F. Pierce of the 17 Mile Drive cottage court, gave birth to a son named James Franklin May 12 at the Monterey hospital. Born at 12:15 a.m. he weighed 8pounds 4 ounces, and is the son of Sgt. William Pierce.
Mother’s Day Babies – G.M. 2/c and Mrs. Michael MaCri of 420 Cypress street welcomed a girl (unnamed) on Mother’s day (May 13) at the Peninsula Community Hospital in Carmel.
Mickie Anne Zerk – Cpl. And Mrs. H.S. Zerk of Ord Village became the parents of a girl, Mickie Anne Zerk, May 10. Born at 6:35 a.m. she arrived at the Monterey hospital.
Martha Donnie Moreland – Sgt. And Mrs. Charles Moreland welcomed a girl, Martha Donnie, at 6:35 a.m. May 7, at the Monterey hospital. The Morelands live at 245 Van Buren street.
Christine V. Siciliano – born on V-E day was Christine Victoria Siciliano to Sgt. And Mrs. Rocco Siciliano. She arrived May 8 at 12:20 a.m. at the Monterey hospital. The Sicilianos live on Van Buren street.
Ida Beverley Travis – was the name chosen by Mr. & Mrs. Hall Travis for their infant daughter who was born at 3:45 a.m. May 8 at the Monterey hospital. Mrs. Travis was the former Louise Archdeacon.
William Edward Morrell – Mr. & Mrs. Herbert Horrell [sic] of 965 Egan welcomed a baby boy at the Peninsula Community Hospital May 7. The name chosen was William Edward Morrell.
Marilyn Marek – was the name chosen for the new daughter of Major and Mrs. S>J. Marek of the Forest avenue extension. She arrived May 7 at the Peninsula Community Hospital.
