Edward W. Parker Dies n Salinas
Edward William Parker, born in Monterey on July 14, 1884, passed away this morning in a Salinas hospital. He was the son of the late Judge W.M. R. Parker and Mrs. Parker. Surviving relatives are a son, Benjamin Parker of Monterey, a brother, James Parker of Santa Barbara, and the following sisters: Mrs. Rose Valpey and Mrs. Lillian Bacher, both of San Francisco, Mrs. Emily Colleta of Oakland, Mrs. Florence DeWitt and Mrs. Harriet Ayers, both of Salinas. The remains are at the Mueller Mortuary in Salinas temporarily, but will be removed to the T.A. Dorney funeral chapel in Monterey on Saturday. Dorney is in charge of the funeral arrangements, which will be announced tomorrow.

Parker Funeral Services Monday
Funeral services for Edward William Parker, who passed away Friday morning, will be held on Monday at 9:30 a.m. from the San Carlos Catholic church. Interment will be in the family plot in the Catholic cemetery. The T.A. Dorney funeral chapel has charge of the arrangements. Funeral services will start from the Dorney chapel at 9 a.m. and from there will go to the San Carlos Catholic church at 9:30 o’clock.
