Pacific Grove Beacon, CA Jan. 9, 1998
Lena C. Langton, a forty-three-year resident of Pacific Grove, died on January 3, 1998. She was 82. Mrs. Langton worked for twenty years at the Naval Postgraduate School where she was considered a cherished institution by many. She made the best coffee on campus and provided a gathering spot for many students. She had a long history of service to the PTA and the Girl Scouts in Pacific Grove and was also an active parishioner at St. Angela's Catholic Church. She is survived by her son, Delmer Langton of Seattle, WA, Erin Field of Pacific Grove, Maria Tuinbow of St. Louis, Missouri, and Elsie Herscher of Mountain View.
