Robley to be Laid to Rest by Lodge Men
Masonic Rites Will be Observed for P.G. Resident

Mourned by an impressive list of friends from all parts of the Peninsula and particularly in Pacific Grove where he made his home for many years, Frank G. Robley will be laid to rest tomorrow afternoon with Masonic rites held at Paul’s Mortuary at 2:00 p.m. While en route to the East with his wife for an extended vacation, Robley was stricken suddenly ill at Albany, Oregon, on Monday and passed away the following day in a hospital there. His son, John, who lives in San Francisco traveling by airplane, reached his father’s bedside before his death. Coming to the Peninsula a quarter of a century ago, Robley entered the employ of the Monterey County Water Works in Pacific Grove. He was placed in charge of the Carmel and Monterey offices in 1914, a position which he held until about one year ago. For the past year Robley had been manager of the auto loan department of the Robley Chevrolet company. The Robley residence is at 605 Granite street. He was a native of Iowa and 67 years of age. In addition to his widow, Clara, and his son, John, surviving relatives indude his sisters, Mrs. G.T. Harn, of Athia, Iowa, and Misses Emma and Winifred Robley of Corral de Tierra; his brothers, R.T. Robley of Monterey, Spencer Robley, Corral de Tierra, and Richard Robley, Watsonville. He was a member of Pacific Grove Lodge No. 28`, F&AM and the funeral services tomorrow afternoon will be in charge of that….
