Mrs. Maynard Larsen of 649 Neptune presented her husband with a Babyboy November 20 at the Peninsula Community Hospital.
Mary Joan Pinkton was the name chosen by Mrs. Bennie Pinkton for her baby daughter born November 22 at the Peninsula Community Hospital.
It was a girl for the William Mailazzos of 414 Hawthorne street, New Monterey. Born November 21, her mother was at the Peninsula Community Hospital.

Mr. & Mrs. John Louis Habeck welcomed a daughter, Janet Joyce Habeck at 2:57 p.m. November 29. Mrs. Habeck, the former Ruth Mae Williams of Carmel,w as at the Monterey hospital. The baby weighed 5 olbs, 8 oz.
The second child of First Lt. William James Burns, Patrick Charles, was born at 8:19 a.m. December 1 at the Monterey hospital. He weighed 7 lbs. 9 oz. at birth. His parents are living in Carmel.
Born at 10:40 p.m. November 29, Robert Eugene Cortines weighed 7 lbs. 8 oz at birth. His parents are T/Sgt. and Mrs. Eugene Cortines of Del Monte heights and he was born at the Monterey hospital.
Pamela Anne Tanous ws the name chosen by Mr. & Mrs. John Tanous at 6:20 November 29 at the Monterey hospital. Weighing 5 lbs. 8 oz. at birth, he was the Tanous’ third child. Their home is at 632 Gibson avenue.
Garay Forest Auten was the name of the son of Cpl. And Mrs. Henry Auten of La Fiesta Court, Monterey. Weighing 5 lbs., 11 ½ oz., he arrived November 27 at the Monterey hospital.
Judy Lane Rhodes, first daughter of Pvt. and Mrs. Wiley Monroe Rhodes, was born November 30 at the Monterey hospital. Weighing 8 lbs., 8 oz., she will live at 313 Walnut street.
Iva Lee LeBlanc was the name chosen for the son of Pvt. and Mrs. Lodis LeBlanc of 1053 Johnson avenue, Monterey. Born at 2:20 p.m. November 30, he weighed 5 lbs., 2 ½ oz. He arrived at the Monterey hospital.

Geraldine Ruth Masters Arrived December 4
Geraldine Ruth is the name given the first child of Mr. & Mrs. David Masters, 208 Congress. The little girl, weighing seven pounds nine, arrived at the Peninsula Community Hospital December 4, at 10:28 a.m. Not the least excited member of the family is Mrs. Mollie Masters, 217 Sixth street, a grandmother fo the first time. The new mother, the former Mabel Rocker, was for some time on the staff of Seaside school, afterwards taking a position as bookkeeper at Hovdens. Mr. Masters is employed by the telephone company. He also is receiving congratulations this week from the Pacific Grove volunteer fire department of which he is a member. Maternal grandparents are Mr. & Mrs. Rocker of Lindsay. Several aunts and uncles also live in Lindsay and Portland, Oregon. Miss M. Kerrigan and Mr. John Kerrigan of new York city, grand aunt and uncle are also interested in their newest relative, as is Mrs. In La Earl McCanan of Lakeside, paternal aunt. More distant relatives but none the less pleased to hear of the new arrival are Lt. and Mrs. H.J. Beckett, the former now resting at Corona hospital, California. Lt. Beckett, army man of 25 years, always considers Pacific Grove his home town.

It’s a Girl – A fourth child, a girl, was born Saturday afternoon, December 9 at a Salinas hospital to Mr. & Mrs. Richard Rosas of Los Angeles. Mrs. Rosas has been staying with her sister, Miss Margaret Majarez, at 343 Wood street, and will remain here for an indefinite period, with her three children, Robert, Ella Jean and Roberta. Mrs. Rosas is a native of Monterey. In addition to the maternal aunt, there are three uncles, Robert, Jay and Joe Majarez, all in service. The paternal grandparents are living in Los Angeles.

Christina Bernice is the name given the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Paul E. Rink, 139 12th street, born at the Peninsula hospital in Carmel, December 16 at 7:48 p.m.
It’s a Boy – Mr. & Mrs. Frances Olsen, 106 Grand avenue are the parents of a son born at 2:50 p.m. December 19 at Carmel community hospital.
Margie Louise Reese is the new arrival in the home of Mr. & Mrs. Lloyd S. Reese. She was born at the Peninsula Community Hospital, Carmel, December 18 at 8:36 p.m.
Stephen Burt Firstman – Mr. & Mrs. Robert Firstman, 1032 Shell avenue, are parents of a second son born at 3:40 p.m. December 10, at the Monterey hospital. Burth weight was just over seven pounds. Mrs. Firstman, and the baby returned home Wednesday. Stephen’s brother, Harold Blake Firstman, is eight years of age. Grandparents are Mr. & Mrs. Sam Firstman of Monterey and Mr. & Mrs. I. Mast of Los Angeles. Two uncles and aunts, the Roy and Phil Firstmans, live in Pacific Grove. Others are elsewhere throughout the state.
William Louis Wattigney – the young man arrived at 12:51 p.m., December 14 at Monterey hospital The parents are Cpl. And Mrs. Louis M. Wattigney; who live at 514 Twelfth street.
Herbert Winston Gruenwald was born at the Monterey hospital, December 7, putting in an appearance at 9:55 a.m. Parents are Mr. & Mrs. Keith Gruenwald who live at 783 Cypress street, New Monterey.
Priscilla Irene Gleason – that is the name of the baby girl both at Monterey hospital at 7:35 p.m. December 14, the daughter of Pvty. And Mrs. Carl W. Gleason of Alice street court.
Mr. & Mrs. Everett Leonard of 841 Maple street, Pacific Grove, are the parents of a son named Larry Milton, born at 10:10 p.m. December 23 at the Peninsula hospital.
Leilanu Sue Underwood – that musical name is given to the daughter of Sgt. and Mrs. Charles Underwood, 128 19th street, Pacific Grove. The baby arrived via the Peninsula hospital at 5:05 a.m. on December 12.
Carolyn Diane Estaves – that is the pretty name chosen for the newest arrival in the home of Mr. & Mrs. Tony Estaves. Carolyn was born December 19 at 2:27 a.m. at the Peninsula hospital.
Peter John Burke Jr. – Lt. (jg) and Mrs. Peter John Burke, of 724 Pine avenue, Pacific Grove, are the parents of Peter John Burke Jr. who was born December 2 at Monterey hospital.
Ellen Louise Merrifield – this daughter of Long Beach parents, Dr. and Mrs. C.W. Merrifield, was born on Pearl Harbor day at Peninsula hospital in Carmel.

David Gene Mumford – the first born son of Lt. and Mrs. Gene Mumford has been named after his dad, who is now at Maidenfield, Missouri. David Eugene was born at the Peninsula hospital in Carmel on December 21, checking in at seven pounds five ounces. Mrs. Mumford has been living recently with her mother, Mrs. Edna Starkweather, 38 17th street. The paternal grandfather, H.E. Mumford, has lived in the Grove for many years. Living with him on 177th steet is David Gene’s aunt Miss Virginia Mumford. A paternal uncle, Robert Mumford, is in San Francisco, studying for the ministry. On the mother’s side David Gene has an aunt, also, Miss Elma Stalkweather.
Caran Louise Hlavka – Cpt. And Mrs. F. Hlavka, 898 Pine street, are the proud paretnts of a baby girl, Caran Louise, born December 26 at the Monterey hospital.
Robert William Herndon is the new member in the Mr. & Mrs. Howell Herndon home, 309 2nd street, Pacific Grove. Robert was born at the Monterey hospital on December 27 at 8:14 a.m.

It’s a Boy – a boy was born to Mr. & Mrs. Charles Seiton, Monterey Peninsula Country Club, on December 27 at the Monterey Peninsula Community Hospital.
A Girl Arrives – Ensign and Mrs. Kenneth Hayes, 646 Harrison street, Monterey, this week became the proud parents of a baby girl, born December 27 at the Peninsula Community Hospital.
Zuzette Laraine Jauvere – Cpt. And Mrs. William W. Janvere of New Monterey are the parents of a daughter, Suzette Laraine, born December 23 at Monterey hospital.
Jesse Fernando Mata – Pfc. And Mrs. Fernando Mata of 12th street, Pacific Grove, are the parents of the young man who arrived at Monterey hospital at 8:40 p.m. December 21. The boy is their first child.
