Although she had been a great sufferer of some time death always comes as a shock to those near and dear. Mrs. Stalter, who was the wife of J.H. Stalter, was 71 years of age, and leaves beside her husband, Seven children to morn her loss. Four sons, John, Edward and Fred of this city and George of Oklahoma, and three daughters, Mrs. Yarbough of Guerneville, Mrs. Frances Dawson of this city, and Mrs. Snider of Oklahoma.
