Business Leader Passes in Grove
Frederick H. Boynton, for many years Pacific Coast representative of the Duplex Printing Press company, passed away yesterday afternoon at his home, 245 Alder St., Pacific Grove, after an illness of several months’ duration. During the past 40 years he had been prominently identified both on the Pacific Coast and in the east with the newspaper publishing business. He was connected with the Anacortes American at Anacortes, Washington, one of the oldest papers in the west. He was 67 years old, a native of New York state. His residence in the Grove had extended over a period of 15 years. He leaves surviving his wife, Mrs. F.H. Boynton, a resident of the Grove; a niece, Mrs. Louise Boynton Schroeder, also living in Pacific Grove, and a brother, Charles H. Boynton, living in Seattle. He had no children. The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock from the funeral parlors of J.K. Paul in the Grove. Interment will be strictly private in El Carmelo Cemetery.

Funeral for Grove Resident Yesterday
Funeral services for the late Frederick H. Boynton were held yesterday afternoon at the family residence on Alder street, Pacific Grove. The service was a very simple and beautiful one carried through by the Rev. Orville Coates, with several of Mr. Boynton’s favorite songs played on the Victrola, among them “The Little Streams of Dua Calling Me.” The home was filled with lovely flowers, sent by friends of the deceased from all over the United States. Pall-bearers were Irving Keelen, G.P. Snell, Sheldon Gilmer and Mr. Steven. Interment at El Carmelo Cemetery was private.
