Peninsula Daily Herald, CA July 7, 1923 p1
Mrs. Nora Tanner Dies in San Luis
Mrs. Nora Tanner, wife of J.C. Tanner, a prominent rancher and stockman of San Luis Obispo county, was buried recently in San Luis Obispo. She was formerly in a well-known teacher in the Salinas schools, a daughter of Noah Corey, who was along time resident of Salinas. Only one member of her family now survives, and that is Mrs. Tannerís brother, Josiah Corey, for many years past resident of Yuma, Ariz., and a member of the board of supervisors of Yuma county. The deceased was a cousin of Mrs. G.A. Daughtery of Salinas and Messrs. E.E. and Fred Littlefield of this city.
