Mrs. Proctor Dies in Her Home Here
Mrs. Mary L. Proctor is dead. She passed away this morning just as the dawn came up out of the waters that she loved so well. She did not survive her mother very long, for it was only a few days ago, not two weeks, that she went to Alameda county to be at the bedside of Mrs. Clark and then to attend the funeral of that dear woman. Mrs. Proctor was in unsound health on her return from Oakland. The shock of her motherís passing and a cold that she caught making the return journey proved to be too much for her. She just seemed to be ready to go on to join those who had gone on before her and when the Reaper called he found this loved, revered and respected resident of the Grove fuly prepared for him. She would have been sixty-five had she lived till February seventeenth next. She was in her home at 202 Congress avenue, when the end came. While funeral plans have not been announced definitely it is safe to say that Saturday will be the day and the Methodist church the pace for the last rites. J.K. Paul is looking after the arrangements.

Mrs. Proctor Rites Set For Tomorrow
With the Rev. Mr. Irons saying the words of farewell, the funeral services for Mrs. Proctor will be held tomorrow afternoon at two thirty under the direction of J.K. Paul. Those paying their respect to the memory of Mrs. Proctor will assemble at the paul funeral parlors. Interment will be in El Carmelo cemetery. Services will be simple, for Mrs. Proctor was a woman of simple and refined taste, and she would not want ceremony.
