The social event of the year for local history fans
The "old" and beloved historic Searls Library in downtown Nevada City has been unavailable for many months while its collection has been carefully relocated to the new facility. The basic Searls collection will now be reunited with estranged parts of the Nevada County Historical Society's archival inventory, much of which has been 'stored' throughout the county at various locations for many years.
